It was a great pleasure for us to get to know “More Africa” in Paje, Zanzibar, and spend two weekends there. My son Mariano, our travel companion Karin and I were based in Zanzibar Town for our summer holiday, and we used the weekends to further explore the island, go for boat trips and to go swimming at the wonderful beaches of the east coast.

I spent such a very nice time with my friend. we are so happy discovering this place. Ellen is a very good person, she’s doing such a very good job, not only with her guesthouse, but also the way she cares about children who have mental sicknesses

How many rooms do you have?

We have 4 appartments (max 4 people) and 6 rooms (max 3 people)

When is the restaurant open?

The restaurant is open monday to saturday from 7.30 until 22.30 (Important note: Blooming Zanzibar is still closed, we open december 2024)

More Africa is an officially registered charity on Zanzibar which focuses on children and young adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. Yes, you can visit the NGO on wednesdays or fridays between 11.30 and 12.30. Please make an appointment through +255629987809 before visiting.
